Susan Katherine Dell'Italia, beloved mother and cherished family matriarch, passed away peacefully. Known fondly as the "mother hen" of our family, she nurtured everyone around her with boundless love and care. Many who knew her called her a "second mother" for the kindness and support she offered beyond her own family.

Daughter of Louis and Mary Katherine Nannini, sister to Victor and Kathy Nannini, Mary Theresa and James Koehler, widow to Patrick Dell'Italia. She was the loving mother of Noelle Mirra and husband Richard Mirra, Melissa Dell'Italia and husband James Jones. She took great joy in her grandchildren Abigail Mirra, Jonathan Mirra, Ellayna Jones, and Devereaux Jones.

A dedicated teacher and nursery school educator, she later embraced the role of stay-at-home mom, guiding her children with patience and kindness. She delighted in caring for her grandchildren, especially enjoying their performances, artistic creations, dance recitals, performances and sharing joyful moments together.

Her creative spirit shone through her love of art, crafts, and music, which brought her great happiness throughout her life. She treasured her close bond with her father, a relationship that was a cornerstone of her heart.

Her heart was filled with warmth, laughter, and unwavering support. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered for her gentle spirit, legacy of kindness and the love she shared so freely.
