Susan Ida (Faircloth) Jackson died Tuesday, December 30, 2025. Sue was born in Lufkin, Texas to Bill and Doris Faircloth on November 30, 1935.
Sue was married to Reldon for 62 years. Reldon proceeded her in death. Sue is survived by three children and spouses. Karen and George Warnock, Robin and Bill Gandin and Reed Jackson. 15 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. She is also survived by three sisters, their spouses and one sister-in-law.
Sue graduated UNM with a bachelor's in art history. She painted mainly in oils and dabbled in watercolor.
Sue was active for years in AAUW. She was active in many areas of art as in decorating wedding and birthday cakes.
Sue cared for her family and friends all her live and traveled extensively with Reldon in their retirement.
A private viewing for family has taken place; there is no formal services scheduled - to honor Sues wishes.
