Susan L. Jacques

Susan L. Jacques, 73, passed away peacefully on September 7, 2021 in Richfield, OH, surrounded by her children and grandchildren. She was born on June 13, 1948 in Akron, OH to parents, Ralph (Leland) and Doris Watson. Sue was a strong, caring, selfless mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend who loved her family. Her greatest joy in life had been her children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was a kind, thoughtful person, who took every opportunity to write a letter, celebrate a birthday and attend their many activities. She also loved musical theater, ballet and was an avid reader. Sue grew up in Cuyahoga Falls, OH, graduating from Cuyahoga Falls High School in 1966. She earned her bachelor's degree from Bowling Green State University. Eventually, Sue settled in Tallmadge, OH with her four children. She took great pride in her home and hosted many happy family holidays and reunions over the years. Sue was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by daughters, Jeanine Black (Dave Kutcher) and Nicole (Jerry) Williamson; sons, Russell (Lauren) Jacques and Brett Jacques; grandchildren, Emma Black, Mesfin Williamson, Mya Williamson, Olivia Jacques and Carter Jacques; siblings, Sandra (Jerry) Windle, Leslie (Gary) Wells, Michael (Karen) Watson, Ellen Roundtree, James (Kerri) Watson and Lynne (Doug) Leaverton; and many, beloved nieces and nephews. Calling Hours will be held Tuesday, September 14 from 4 - 7 p.m. at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., Akron, OH 44333. A Memorial Service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, September 15 at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 70 W Streetsboro St. #201, Hudson, OH 44236.
