Kaiser, Susan Ann
73 of Dardenne Prairie, MO passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 12, 2024, at Hampton Manor in Wentzville, MO. She was born on August 27, 1950, in Granite City, IL. Beloved daughter of the late Leeman and Irene (Kwiaktowski) Kaiser. Susan was a graduate of St. Lukes Hospital School of Nursing. She received her degree of Bachelor of Science in Nursing, from St. Louis University, cum laude.
She was employed by Barnes Jewish Hospital as nurse manager from1980-1992. A Clinical Nurse III, 1992-1993 at the National Institute of Health, Bethesda, Maryland. She was selected to "Who's Who" in American nursing in 1990-1991. Nursing Manager at Georgetown University 1994-1995. Senior Research Associate, Clinical Trial Manager, for Genome Sciences from 2001-2011.
Her interests included major league baseball with a love for the St. Louis Cardinals. Visiting all baseball cities and stadiums in the United State and Canada. She created a major collection of sporting memorabilia while attending various major sporting events.
Susan is survived by her brother, Roger Kaiser (Jan Christensen); niece, Mickey (Mark) Clewell; nephew, Joseph (Kimberly) Kaiser; cherished by great nieces and nephew; special cousin to Gregory (Sandy) Kaiser; special friend of many in her nursing career, sports following, and travel.
The family would like to give a special thank you to Three Oaks Hospice's care giver, Alicia Laird.
Services: A memorial visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge (1116 N. Desloge Dr.), Saturday, June 8, 2024, at 1:00 PM, until the service time of 2:00 PM. A private inurnment will be held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery in Park Hills, MO. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Alzheimer's Association or charity of your choice.

I was saddened to hear of Susan's passing. I worked with her in the late 90's and admired her for her intelligence, kindness and work ethic
I will have a Mass said for her at my home parish, St. Bede the Venerable, Williamsburg, Virginia.
