Nov 30, 1960 - Feb 8, 2026
Born November 30, 1960, in Bellaire, Ohio, to Frederick and Lois Clark, Susan L. Kienbaum passed away Sunday, February 8, 2026, peacefully at home surrounded by her family. Graduating from Bellaire High School in 1979, Susan met and married Charles "Chuck" Kienbaum on February 26, 1981. One year prior to marrying Chuck, on July 17, 1980, Susan joined the United States Navy and served at COMNAVLOG PAC at Pearl Harbor, HI until honorably discharged May 18, 1982. She continued to serve her country as a Government Service employee from 1982 through 2009 at several locations, including Mayport, Fl, Charleston, SC, Bolling AFB with OSI, Long Beach Naval Station, and Fairchild AFB. Susan felt most at peace when she was in the sun. Paradise wasn't just being at the pool or ocean; it was being with her best friend, the love of her life, Chuck, as well as her children and grandchildren. She also loved gardening, golfing, and, while in high school, Susan was very sports-oriented and athletic, playing basketball and volleyball. Susan is survived by her husband, Chuck Kienbaum; one stepson, Shane Hammond; three daughters, Amy Wallower, Tiffany Fair, and Felicia Walden; three brothers, Mike Clark, Wayne Clark, and Chuck Clark; 11 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Susan was preceded in death by her parents, Frederick and Jean Clark; her brother, Jim Clark; and grandparents, Dick and Bessie Clark. A Viewing will be held on Tuesday, February 24, from 12 Noon to 4 p.m., at Hennessey Funeral Home, 2203 N. Division St., Spokane, WA, followed by the Rosary at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, 6122 WA-291, Nine Mile Falls, WA.
