Susan Kitlan Obituary
Born in Hazleton, Pennsylvania, September 5, 1956, she was the daughter of Anthony "Lindy" Lawrence Swetz & Mary Ellen (Kakalecik) and spent the past 22 years in Evans after moving from Hazleton, PA.
Sue was a 1974 graduate of West Hazleton Senior High School (Hazleton, PA), and received her Medical Office Specialist Certificate from Augusta Technical College in 2002. Sue had recently retired after serving in various roles over the past 19 years at Doctors Hospital in Augusta.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Emil John Kitlan; her father, Anthony "Lindy" Lawrence Swetz; her mother, Mary Ellen (Kakalecik); her sister, brother-in-law, & nephew, Dianne S., Richard P., & Christopher M. Curry; and her two brothers Lawrence A. Swetz & David J. Swetz.
Surviving are her two daughters, Tayler Susan & her husband Charles Brock Norwood, Kelsey Frances & her husband Andrew Scott McNight; a granddaughter Lillian Emilia Norwood, Sue was also expecting the arrival of two new grandsons in the coming months, her niece, Elizabeth M. Curry (PA), and nephews, Keith M. Swetz, M.D. (AL), Bryan A. Swetz (PA), Anthony A. Swetz (PA), & David J. Swetz (PA).
Her memorial service will be held Sunday, October 9th, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Thomas Poteet and Son Funeral Directors. Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
