Susan Reed (Alsdorf) Luechauer , born October 27, 1947, passed away on September 4, 2025, at the age of 77. She was predeceased by her parents, James R. and Norma L. Alsdorf; her sister, Mary G. Alsdorf; her husband, Willie Luechauer; and her nephew, Jason L. Alsdorf. Susan is lovingly remembered by her son, Kurt Luechauer; her daughter, Heidi L. Williams; and her cherished grandchildren, Violet, Lucas, and Lincoln Williams. She is also survived by her brother, Stephen B. (Laura) Alsdorf ; nieces, EmmaLee Dignan and Haley Marble; and many extended family and friends. A woman of faith and music, Susan was a past member of Western Presbyterian Church of Palmyra and the Rochester Oratorio Society. Her warmth, dedication, and love of family and community touched the lives of many. Her family will carry forward her legacy of kindness, music, and love. A brief prayer service to honor Susan's life will be held on Sunday, September 7, 2025, at 1:00 PM, at the Robert L. Yost Funeral Home, 123 West Main Street, Palmyra, New York. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a charitable donation in Susan's honor to Western Presbyterian Church of Palmyra, 101 East Main St., Palmyra, NY 14522.
