Susan Lynne McKeehan

Susan Lynne McKeehan, 76, of London, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, November 1, 2025. She was born on June 9, 1949, in Louisville, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Walter Brown and Mildred Chowning Brown.

Susan was united in marriage to her loving husband, Chester McKeehan, who survives. She is also survived by her daughter, Stephanie McKeehan; her son, Brant McKeehan and wife Rachel, all of London; three siblings, Penny Droppleman and husband Stephen of Fisherville, Kentucky, Valerie Brown, and Amy Bolin, both of Mt. Washington, Kentucky; and three cherished grandchildren, Thomas McKeehan, Susan Maupin, and MacKenzie Maupin. She also leaves behind a host of extended family and dear friends who will miss her deeply.

In addition to her parents, Susan was preceded in death by two siblings, Tony Brown and Peggy Rieber.

Susan was a dedicated insurance agent for Roger Stanifer, a job she truly loved and took great pride in. She never met a stranger and was known for her warm smile, kind heart, and welcoming hug. With her quick wit and wonderful sense of humor, Susan brought joy to everyone around her.

She had a lifelong love for animals-especially her dogs, cats, and horses-and found great peace in nature and flowers. Some of her happiest moments were spent laughing and sharing stories with her beloved sisters.

Susan will be remembered for her kindness, laughter, and love for life. She leaves behind a legacy of warmth and compassion that will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

A celebration of life for Susan Lynne McKeehan will be held by the family at a later date.
