Susan F. Mitchell (Fisher) of Bridgewater, passed away peacefully on September 30, 2025, with her family by her side, after a recent illness.

Sue was a Registered Nurse for over 50 years, spending much of her career caring for those at South Shore Hospital. She was a strong, independent person of faith and a talented clarinet player who shared her love of music and the arts with her family. She thoroughly enjoyed the traditions of holidays and family gatherings which she instilled in her children. She was an avid gardener and cherished the beauty of flowers. She was a number 1 Celtic's fan who rarely missed watching a game while providing commentary from her couch. Sue's main passion in life was spending time with those she loved, especially her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Sue will be sadly missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Beloved wife to her high school sweetheart, the late Gordon W. Mitchell. Loving mother of Wendy Pierce and her fiancé Stephen Morin of Bridgewater, Rosemary Mitchell and her partner Bryan Etter of Holbrook, and Robert Mitchell and his partner Steven Deell of Rhode Island. Devoted grandmother of Mitchell A. Pierce and his wife Jessica, and Mikayla Pierce. Adored great grandmother of Parker A. Pierce, and Payton S. Pierce. Caring sister of Pamela Godin of Wrentham. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members and dear friends.

Services will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Sue may be made to Shriners Children's Hospital or to the American Cancer Society.
