Susan M. Monfiletto

Susan, 69, of Rochelle Park, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, October 2, 2024. Born in Manhattan and growing up in Dumont, NJ, Sue had a passion for her family, cooking, holidays, her beloved New Jersey Devils, knitting and of course baking. Before her recent retirement Susan worked for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey for over 40 years as an Administrator in charge of timekeeping and payroll.
Sue found tremendous joy in watching her great-nephews in all of their activities and sports and she was always a fan on the sidelines or in the bleachers routing them on. She adored her dogs Honey and Socks and decorating for every holiday with unique and handmade pieces. An amazing baker, her Christmas cookies were shared with neighbors, co-workers, friends and family every year with old favorites and new recipe attempts - all with Love.
Susan is survived by her brother, Raymond Monfiletto (the late Sherry), nephews, Gregory Monfiletto, Scott Monfiletto and his wife Kassandra, great-nephews, Andrew, Thomas, Christian and Dominic, and cousin Patricia Peiliker.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 9, 2024 from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm at the Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 113 South Farview Avenue, Paramus. Funeral Service will be held at 10:15 am on Thursday, October 10, 2024. Entombment will follow at the Garden of Memories, located in Washington Township, NJ.
