In Loving Memory of Susan Elaine Osmers
September 15, 1957 – August 6, 2025

Susan Elaine Osmers passed away peacefully on August 6, 2025, at the age of 67 in Sonoma, Ca. A truly tender-hearted soul, Susan brought warmth, humor, and deep compassion to everyone she encountered-from childhood through adulthood.

Born on September 15, 1957, Susan was the beloved daughter of Florence and Raymond Osmers and the cherished younger sister of her hero, Jack. She was the long-awaited baby girl and the delight of her mother's life. Her kind spirit and open heart were constant throughout her journey.

Susan followed the beat of her own drum, and that rhythm led her westward, across the country from Pennsylvania to California, where she lived for the past 40 years. There, she embraced her passions-art, wine, cooking, and a free-spirited life enriched by creativity and love. She met her dearest lifelong friends while working at J Vineyards and Winery in Healdsburg, Ca. There Susan worked in her dream job in the tasting room and laboratory.

She loved NASCAR and attended 75 races with friends over her lifetime. Her home was always shared with the quiet companionship of cats she adored, each one holding a special place in her heart.

A lover of science fiction films and quick-witted humor, Susan also found joy in reminiscing with her nephew, who shared her initials-S.E.O.-as they laughed over family stories, memories that echoed with nostalgia and warmth.

Susan had an unmatched gift for listening. She offered a compassionate ear without judgment and loved deeply and openly. She will be remembered for the gentleness of her spirit, her artistic soul, and the love she spread so freely.

She was predeceased by her mother Florence, her father Raymond, and her brother Jack, whose memory she carried closely all her life. Though she has left this world, Susan's light, laughter, and love live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
