It is with great sorrow that the family shares the passing on June 12, 2025, of Susan Ann Radebaugh, 76, of Grandview Heights, Ohio. Her passing occurred at Otterbein Senior Life, Gahanna.
As a single mother, she worked her whole adult life. She was a natural wit and master of the pun. She had challenges in her life that most of us will never experience, but she marched on with determination and love of life. Most importantly, she had a profound love for family.
Susan is pre-deceased by her parents Frederick Emmett Radebaugh, Jean Kathleen Haubrich Radebaugh, and son, Fredrick Douglas Whitman.
She is survived by sisters, Carolyn Radebaugh Bellisari (Albert) of Columbus and Barbara Radebaugh (Randy Berlekamp) of Port Clinton; daughter, Carolyn Whitman (Johnny Harr); grandchildren, Julieanna Harr, Lorna Harr, Decklyn Harr and Candace Whitman, all of Columbus; nieces and nephew, Cari Taylor (Bryan), Amy Werling (Doug), Nikki Bellisari and Cody Berlekamp (Lisa); aunt, Judy Radebaugh Dietz (Joe) of Indianapolis, Indiana; cousins, Linda Skillman Wells (Jim), Marcia Skillman Oberdier, Nancy Skillman Wentzel (Bill), Sally Radebaugh, all of Columbus, and Gretchen Radebaugh Anderson of Walnut Creek, California. Many great nieces and nephews also survive.
Final arrangements will be handled by Day Funeral Service in Gahanna. Her ashes will be scattered back to the earth at the Green Lawn Cemetery memorial pond, where her life will be honored on a bronze butterfly monument near the pond. A memorial service will be scheduled later.
Donations in Susan's memory can be made to a charity of your choice, or Otterbein's Partner in Caring Fund that supports employees through times of crisis.
You may give online at Otterbein.org or by mailing a donation to Otterbein Senior Life, 3855 Lower Market St., #300, Lebanon, Ohio 43036.
