Susan Roach Obituary

Born in Jefferson City, Susan was the beloved daughter of the late Joseph and Lucille (Brackett) Roach. She was a proud graduate of Jefferson City High School and devoted her life to her family and home as a loving homemaker.
Susan found joy in life's simple pleasures - sewing, needlepoint, painting, and shopping trips shared with her dear friends, Margie and Diane. A devoted fan of the game show Family Feud, she rarely missed an episode and loved cheering on contestants with her trademark enthusiasm. She also adored her faithful feline companion, Sox.
For more than seventy years, Susan cherished the unwavering friendship of her best friend, Nonna Woods. Her greatest happiness came from the time spent with her family and friends, whose lives were deeply touched by her warmth and kindness.
Susan is survived by her sons, Joe Sauriol (Stacy) and Clifton Smith; her daughter, Megan Wommack; her grandchildren, Trisha Sauriol, Dylan Sauriol, Max Agans, and Maddie Agans; and her great-grandchildren, Connor Russell, Caden Fowler, and Logan Sauriol.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Jefferson City Animal Shelter in honor of Susan's love for animals.
Friends and family will be received on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Houser-Millard Funeral Directors. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m., officiated by Walter Gilpin. Interment will take place at Centertown Cemetery.
