Anthony Reyes-Ortiz

Anthony Ismael Reyes Ortiz, 15, of Jefferson City, passed away tragically on Friday, October 31, 2025. He was born on February 11, 2010, in Managua, Nicaragua, to Henrry J. Reyes Flores and Ivania Del Socorro Ortiz Ampie.
Anthony was a sophomore at Capital City High School in Jefferson City, where his kind heart and infectious energy brightened the lives of those around him. He loved boxing, playing video games, enjoyed watching TV with his younger brother, and spending time with his family. Known for his humor and independence, Anthony was the clown of the family, always ready with a joke, a smile, or a gesture to lift someone's spirits. Making friends came naturally to him and he had a way of making everyone feel welcome and seen.
He is survived by his loving parents, Henrry and Ivania; his brothers, Jairo, Ezequiel, and Ian; his sister, Anahys; his grandparents, Socorro Flores M. and Martha Ampie; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will forever hold his memory close to their hearts.
Anthony's bright smile, laughter, and warmth will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Friends and family will be received from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at Houser-Millard Funeral Directors.
