Susan Selfe Obituary
Susan Faye Yow Selfe, 68, of Siler City, went to her Heavenly home on Tuesday, April 8th, 2025, at UNC Medical Center in Chapel Hill surrounded by family.
Susan was born on August 17th, 1956, in Chatham County, to the late Albert Blue and Violet Ora Beal Yow. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ronnie Lee Selfe; and her little brother, Robert Yow.
Susan was an upholster for Boiling Chair and Michael Thomas Furniture Factory in Liberty. She loved doing her word search puzzles and playing bingo. She loved spending time with her family and making memories. Susan was an avid lover of the beach and would go any chance she could. She loved watching wrestling and old western movies. Left to cherish her memory are her two sons, Billy Wayne Selig and his wife, Mary, of Sanford, and Bryan George Selig and his wife, Bambie, of Asheboro; her three sisters, Jackie Hunter and her husband, Anthony, of Cameron, Brenda Cross of Cameron, and Billie Farlow and her husband, Steve of Asheboro; and her grandchildren, Samantha, Lana, Lily, Nicholas, Lyncoln, Makayla, and Christina.
A graveside memorial service will be held Monday, April 14th, 2025 at Bonlee Baptist Church Cemetery at 2 pm.
Smith & Buckner Funeral Home will be assisting the Selfe family.
