Susan Stull

Susan (McCoy) Stull, age 79 of Canton, PA, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, July 16, 2025. Susan was born June 24, 1946 in Sayre, PA, a daughter of Dr. Orlo G. and Lucille C. McCoy. She was the co-owner of Stull's Flowers in Canton, PA, had worked for Canton Telephone Company, and was a certified lay pastor. Her nine and a half years as a foster grandparent in the Canton elementary school gave her personal joy and satisfaction. Susan's passions always included music, art, and her strong faith in God. She sang in church choirs and was a member of a local quartet called the C-Notes. Her talents were ever present, whether it be painting, needle crafts, or flowers. She enjoyed gardening, canning, and cooking, and saw to it that her children could all do the same. Susan was an avid card player. She loved her family, which included her canine companion, Libby. Gifts made with love by Mimi were always treasured.
Susan is survived by her children, C. Michele (John) Kern of Jenkinsville, SC, Robert G. Buchanan of Canton, PA, Amy J. (Kenny) Buck of Canton, PA, and stepson Keith A. Stull; sisters Judith M. Coole of Mansfield, PA, and Kathryn (Kathleen Gabriele) McCoy of Canton, PA; grandchildren and greatgrandchildren John, Nichole, Norah, and Alice Ambruch; Chelsea and Noah Buchanan; Cecily Ambruch; Aaron, Ashley, Aby, Vanessa, Evelyn, and Theodore Shults; Emily Ambruch; Garret, Lindsay and Ophelia Shults; and Brant Buchanan; and special friend and former daughter-in-law Lori Buchanan. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Allen L. Stull in 2021, and brother-in-law Frank Coole.
Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life on Sunday, July 20, 2025 at Ward United Methodist Church, 587 Church Road, Canton, PA 17724, at 2:00 PM with Pastor Michele Sommerville officiating.
