Obituary published on Legacy.com by McCulla Funeral Home on Oct. 1, 2025.
With hearts both broken and full of love, we share the passing of Tennison (Tenny) James Stull, a brave little boy who left this world after 11 beautiful months on earth.
Tennison was born with a single ventricle heart defect, a challenge that meant his tiny body would face more battles in a year than most face in a lifetime. From the very beginning, Tennison proved himself to be a fighter. He endured surgeries and procedures with courage beyond his years, his strength inspiring everyone who knew his story. Doctors and nurses often marveled at his resilience, but those closest to him knew his secret weapon, he was surrounded by parents who filled every moment with love, laughter, and joy.
Despite hospital walls and monitors, Tennison's life was anything but defined by sickness. His parents gave him the happiest 11 months possible. He knew the warmth of cuddles at sunrise, the sound of lullabies at bedtime, the joy of giggles in between. He tasted sweetness, felt sunshine, and discovered the comfort of soft blankets and gentle hands. Every day was lived with intention, turning even the simplest moments into memories that will last forever.
Among Tennison's treasures was a stuffed Warmie bobcat named Miles. More than just a toy, Miles became Tennison's constant companion, warming his tiny body during long hospital nights, tucked into his side during naps, and riding along in his car seat during better days. Wherever Tennison went, Miles was sure to follow. To his parents, the sight of their boy cuddled up with his bobcat became a picture of comfort, courage, and innocence.
Though Tennison's time on earth was brief, his impact was immeasurable. He taught his family and friends about resilience, unconditional love, and finding joy even in hardship. His smile lit up rooms, and his story stitched together a community of love and faith.
Tennison James Stull will forever be remembered not for the battles he faced, but for the love he gave, the joy he carried, and the way he made the world brighter in just 11 short months.
