Susan Thomas Obituary
She was born June 18,1952 in Carthage, Missouri the daughter of Clarence (Harriett) and Betty (Mims) Witt, who preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death were two sisters, Saundra and Joann.
Surviving are one daughter, Melissa James Moore of Purdy, Missouri; one son, Robert James and his wife Anita of Purdy, Missouri; five grandchildren, Carrie, Justin, Anastasia, Jessica and Amber and five great-grandchildren, Audrey, Jack, Benjamin, Alonzo and Wanda; four brothers, David Witt of Carthage, Missouri, Richard Witt and his wife Patty of Carthage, Missouri, Doug Witt and his wife Debbie of Tennessee and Wayne Witt and his wife Anna of Carthage, Missouri and two sisters, Elizabeth Boswell of Carthage, Missouri and Edith Stratton and her husband Richard of Oronogo, Missouri.
Susan grew up and attended school in Carthage, Missouri graduating from Carthage High School. She was employed as a manager of Fastrips in the Joplin, Missouri area. She enjoyed baking cakes, cooking and horses but most of all she loved her kids and grandkids. She was of the Baptist faith.
Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, August 24, 2023 at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Reverend Russ Neill will conduct the services. Burial will be at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Butterfield, Missouri.
