She was born on December 11, 1946 in Granite City, IL to Damasio and Gertrude (nee: Ybarra) Vasques.
Susie married Juan Alvarez in Texas and he preceded her in death.
Susie was a loving housewife who enjoyed spending time with her family.
The loving sister is survived by 3 brothers: Jose Vasques, Jesse Vasques and Danny Vasques; 3 sisters: Lorraine Pinedo, Emma Vasques and Anita Saucedo and many extended family members.
Besides her husband and parents, Susie is preceded in death by 4 brothers: Steve Vasques, Ernie Vasques, Ray Vasques and Dave Vasquez and 4 sisters: Virginia Vasquez, Lucy Vasquez, Lupe Ayala and Adella Villagran.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, September 12, 2025 at Wojstrom Funeral Home & Crematory in Granite City, IL. Burial will follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Edwardsville, IL.
