Susie Modesta Cordova of Fort Smith, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, October 4, 2025, at her home. She was born on November 2, 1957, in Rocky Ford, Colorado, to the late Bernardino Cordova and Pola (Montoya) Cordova. She was 67 years old. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Gerald Cordova, Alfred Cordova, and William Cordova; a sister, Florence Cordova; and a great-granddaughter.

Susie was an Integration Interrupter and member of Christ the King Catholic Church in Fort Smith.

She is survived by a daughter, Rebecca Escalante of Fort Smith; two sons, Jose Galvan of Fort Smith and Alfredo Galvan of Garden City, Kansas; a sister, Lucy Cordova of Tulia, Texas; two brothers, Norman Cordova and Archie Cordova, both of Amarillo, Texas; (8) grandchildren; and (11) great-grandchildren.
