In recent years, she enjoyed traveling to see her children and grandkids and spending time with her dog Cowboy. She was an accomplished musician who at various times played piano, violin, drums, and harp. In healthier days, she loved to run, garden, do craft projects with friends. Susie was known for her smile and her gift of gab, as she could strike up a conversation with just about anyone. She was a caring friend who would listen to problems and spend time researching them to recommend solutions. Susie was a courageous person who never lost her positive attitude and faith in Christ. In the end, she knew the love and care of her family and church community.
