With heavy hearts and profound love, we announce the passing of Meghan Morris, a devoted mother, cherished daughter, and beloved sister, who joined her mother, Catherine, with the Lord on November 28, 2025. Although Meghan's absence leaves a profound silence in our lives, her spirit remains forever woven into our hearts.
A gentle soul with a deep love for animals, Meghan had an instinctive compassion for all of God's creatures. Whether caring for family pets or offering kindness to strays that found their way to her door, she recognized the beauty and worth in every living being.
From an early age, Meghan expressed a natural grace and artistic spirit. She spent much of her childhood in dance studios, devoting many years to pointe ballet, jazz, and tap, while also excelling in cheerleading throughout her youth and into high school. Her dedication, energy, and joyful presence were evident in every performance and routine. In school she was active in student government and social clubs, and she was honored to be elected to the homecoming court. She was known and admired by her classmates for her kindness, good humor, and the effortless way she made others feel welcome.
Meghan continued her education at Auburn University before graduating from Georgia State University with a degree in graphic design. After college, she built an early career in Atlanta's print and television media industries. Her talent and creative voice led to published articles in Jezebel, The Blaze, and Flame magazines. These early accomplishments reflected the same grace, creativity, and artistic spirit she had carried throughout her life and showed in every endeavor she pursued.
In time, Meghan's greatest calling became her home and her children. She dedicated her life to raising her two daughters, who were the center of her world. She took pride in nurturing their individuality, encouraging their creativity, and guiding them with patience and understanding. Meghan approached motherhood with a quiet strength and a gentle heart, balancing tenderness with unwavering devotion and a depth of love that was unmistakable to everyone who knew her. Whether helping with schoolwork, celebrating milestones, or simply sharing small daily joys, she poured her time, energy, and boundless love into every moment. Her nurturing presence shaped her daughters' lives in ways that will continue for generations.
In addition to her two precious daughters, Meghan leaves behind her devoted father, Steve, and her two loving brothers, Andrew and Tim, each of whom will forever remember her warmth, love, and laughter.
