Suzann Hackett age 70 of Nelson passed away on Tuesday, August 12, 2025 at Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre. Born December 8, 1954 in Camden, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Elma (Price) Passerallo. She retired from Corning, Inc and was a member of the Silver Sneakers at the YMCA. Suzann enjoyed growing plants, reading, making lists and shopping. She was the family sounding board, partner in crime and everybody's biggest fan and hero. She loved her 'sign' language (even though she only knew one sign) but most important of all, she loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Suzann is survived by her children, Brad and Dee Hackett of Lawrenceville, Sam and Julia Kemp of Taylor, MI and Kim Kemp of Memphis, TN; 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; siblings, Wilhemina, Maxine, Sam and Leonard and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Hackett; son, Shawn Kemp; brother, Robert and sister, Sandra. Family will receive friends at Kenyon Funeral Home, 214 W. Main St., Elkland on Saturday, August 16th from2:00 – 3:00 PM. A funeral service will be held immediately following at 3:00 PM with Rev. Larry O'Dell officiating. Burial will be in Nelson Cemetery.
