Suzannah Alana Willis Hitch

Suzannah Alana Willis Hitch, 32 of Morehead, Kentucky passed away Friday, April 26, 2024, at St. Claire HealthCare in Morehead. She was born October 17, 1991, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana a daughter of Wayne and Melinda Richardson Willis.

Suzannah was a graduate of Lakeside Christian Academy and furthered her education at the University of Kentucky where she obtained her bachelor's degree. She was a gymnastics coach and enjoyed art, writing and gardening. She was a member of the Farmers Volunteer Fire Department and most recently became a certified volunteer firefighter. Most important to her was her family and being a dedicated and devoted mother to Mason and Parker Jo.

Survivors include her son Mason Hitch, age 6 and her daughter Parker Jo Hitch, age 4. Her parents, Wayne and Melinda Richardson Willis of Morehead. Also, Numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

A time of remembrance to celebrate the life of Suzannah will be held Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at 2:00 P.M. in the Mantooth Fellowship Hall at the First Baptist Church of Morehead, 123 East Main Street, Morehead, Kentucky with Pastor Aaron Coyle-Carr officiating.

Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead.

Private burial will take place in the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Morehead.

Contributions are suggested to the First Baptist Church of Morehead Children and Youth Ministry, 123 East Main Street, Morehead, Kentucky 40351 or the Farmers Volunteer Fire Department, 295 Old U.S. Highway 60, Morehead, Kentucky 40351. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
