Suzanne Alix Obituary
Suzanne J. Alix, 77, died on Sunday, December 28, 2025 at Jerome Home at Arbor Rose Assisted Living in New Britain after a brief illness. Born in Southington, CT on December 17, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Leo F. and Adele M. Alix.
She had resided in Meriden, CT and graduated from Maloney High School, Class of 1966 and Laurel Business College. Ms. Alix was employed by the State of Connecticut Division of Special Revenue for 44 years. She was a parishioner of St. Laurent Church.
She is survived by her siblings, Elaine Farrell (Michael) of Mt. Vernon, NY, Edward Alix of Cleveland Heights, OH and Denise M. Alix of Willington, CT; her sister-in-law, Jennifer Alix; four nieces and 2 nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, James J. Alix and Peter F. Alix.
Family and friends may call at Our Lady Queen of Angels Parish, Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 109 Goodwill Ave., Meriden, CT 06451, on Friday, January 2, 2025 from 10 to 11 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Burial will be at a later date.
Should friends desire, contributions in her memory may be made to Paw Safe Animal Rescue, 110 Sandy Beach Road, Ellington, CT 06029. Arrangements are under the direction of the John J. Sorry to hear of Suzanne´s passing.I spent a lot of time at her house on Warren St. when I was visiting my grandparents growing up up.
