Suzanne Kay Brown (Suzie), 59, passed away in her home in Turlock, CA. She was born August 2, 1965, in Ceres, CA.
Suzie is survived by her daughter, Heather Brown, Turlock, CA and son John Parker, Turlock, CA. She is also survived by her parents Dale and Linda Bradley, Patterson, CA, sisters Shelley Patton (Mike), Sonora, CA and Shari Maddox, Sonora, CA. She is also survived by her stepbrother David Nelson, stepsister Kim Collins, her grandchildren Cecelia Perez, Turlock, CA, Michael Perez, Turlock, CA, Christian Perez, Turlock, CA, and her nieces Jennifer Avilla, Patterson, CA, Ashley Azevedo, San Jose, CA, Millessa Oberhauser, Naples, Florida, and Makayla Maddox, Sonora, CA.
Suzie is preceded in death by her biological father Melvin Brown, Modesto, CA, her grandparents Thomas and Lenora Wilson, Patterson, CA, and Otis and Ruby Brown, Empire, CA. Suzie was a devoted water skier and enjoyed being outdoors. She loved her family and her fur babies. She was fearless and could be stubborn at times. Each year she looked forward to the Turlock County Fair, and she would go on most of the rides (thrill seeker). Suzie's life wasn't easy, at a young age of 21 days old, she was diagnosed with Spinal Meningitis, which left her mostly deaf. Still each day she powered through her daily routine the best she could. Suzie had her way of doing things, and she didn't like to deviate from them. Her laugh was unique and contagious, and she knew how to make a room of people laugh. She often thought they were laughing at her, not understanding they were laughing with her. I can still hear her saying, "I am right, or am I right".
Until we meet again
We think about you always
We talk about you still.
You will never be forgotten.
We hold you close,
Within our hearts, and there you will
Remain to walk and guide us
Through our lives, Until we meet again.
