Suzanne (Sue) Elizabeth Christensen passed away on September 20, 2025. She was born on September 14th, 1955, in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and spent her childhood in Grass Lake, MI and Brooklyn, MI before moving to Haslett and graduating from Haslett High School in 1973.
Sue had a passion for flowers and was known for her flourishing gardens. She cherished sharing stories with her friends and family, always filling the room with warmth and laughter. Her grandchildren were her greatest blessing and she took such pride in all of their accomplishments. Her contagious laugh, resilient spirit, fierce personality and heart of gold overflowing with love, will always be remembered. Sue loved her family dearly and was a devoted wife, daughter, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend to all who knew her.
She was a loving wife of 37 years to Thomas (Tom) Christensen, and they are survived by their three beautiful children. Mr. Jeremy Lee and wife Tracina Christensen, and their children Caleb, Makiah, Quinton, Kristopher, Daelyn, Isaac, and Malcolm (Jackson MI), Mr. Joshua John, and wife Audrea Christensen, daughters Jaylen and husband Kaden Romito and Katie (Dunn, NC), and Mrs. Jennifer Nicole, and husband Jason Kortgoede, and their children, Brooklyn, Landen, William, Alexandria, and Rainer (Haslett MI) She is remembered by her sisters and brother, Karen, and husband Bill Kerr, Lana, and husband Jeff Smith, and brother Rick Pabst, as well as her many nieces and nephews whom she adored. She is preceded in death by her loving Husband, Tom Christensen, her parents Elizabeth (Betty) Fielder and Virgil Pabst, along with her brother Don Pabst.
A memorial service will be held on Friday September 26, at 11AM with visitation one hour prior at Palmer Bush and Jenson Family Funeral Home, 520 East Mt. Hope Ave Lansing, MI 48910. A visitation will be held Thursday, September 25, from 6-8pm at Palmer Bush and Jenson Family Funeral Home.
