Suzanne M Hampton January 16, 1944 – December 9, 2025
Suzanne Michael Hampton, age 81, peacefully passed away on December 9, 2025. Born on January 16, 1944, in Youngstown, Ohio, Sue's unwavering faith in the Lord guided her life and approach to being a devoted wife and mother.
Sue attended Pennsbury Senior High School in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, where she met her late husband, Richard Pryce Hampton. They were married on August 28, 1965, in Fairless Hills, Pennsylvania. They were happily married for almost 56 years.
Sue had many passions in life, including a love for fashion. In pursuit of this passion, she was able to attend the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. Later in her life, Sue also ran a successful mail and marketing business for 15 years. She also had a love for animals, especially her beloved pets. However, her biggest passion was cooking homemade dinners for her family, whom she loved dearly.
Sue is preceded in death by her parents Walter F. Michael, Jr., and Martha (Harrison) Michael. She leaves behind her loving sons David (Melanie) Hampton and Jeffrey (Donna) Hampton and seven grandchildren: Ashley, Aaron, Cole, Elise, Hope, Julia, and Allie. She is also survived by her brother, Walter "Skip" (Edwina) Michael III and longtime family friend, Tom Flynn. She will be greatly missed and was loved by so many.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Ohio Pet Sanctuary at https://www.ohiopetsanctuary.com/helping in her name.
A celebration of life will be determined at a later date.
