Suzanne M. Holley

Suzanne Michelle Scott Holley was born November 16, 1964 in Sherman, Texas at Wilson N. Jones Hospital and was born five minutes after her identical twin sister, Rebecca.
She was the third child of Henry and Inez Scott. Suzanne attended Denison ISD from Hyde Park Elementary to her graduation from Denison High School in 1983. Her years at Denison High were filled with friends, fun, and various activities. She especially loved her years as a Stingerette.
After high school, Suzanne married Steven Barr. They had one son, Justin, whom she adored. Suzanne would choose Optometry as a profession and became a certified optician. Suzanne and Steve divorced when Justin was 5. She later married Don Holley with whom she had two children, Taylor and Devan. Chelsie Holley, Don's daughter from a previous marriage, was also adored alongside her own children.
Suzanne loved children. She found the perfect place to give her love and attention to them while working for Denison ISD at Lamar and Houston Elementaries for 6 years.
Love of friends and family was at Suzanne's core. Her 'girls' were her pride and everything. She watched them grow into fine young women and was proud of them.
Suzanne was kind, considerate, thoughtful, strong, and intuitive. Nothing got by here. We have to add to this list of friends and family with her recent "best friend", Luca. Luca is a German Shepherd who has been with her for over a year. He gave her a sense of security and companionship she needed and was spoiled and loved in return.
Suzanne was preceded in death by her son, Justin, and her husband, Don Holley.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00AM Thursday, April 24, 2025 at Fisher Funeral Home Chapel, with Dr. Jeff Humphrey, officiating. Burial will follow at the Garden of Memory Cemetery, in Colbert, OK. The family will receive friends from 5:00PM till 7:00PM Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at the funeral home.
