Suzanne Sherman Ivanof of Marshfield, Massachusetts passed away after a long courageous battle against cancer on April 17, 2022. She was the cherished mother of Stephania Ivanof of Pennsylvania and Alex Ivanof of Marshfield, Massachusetts, and loving daughter of Patricia Williams Sherman of Marshfield, Massachusetts.
Suzanne was the dear sister of Karl Robert Wihtol, sister in-law of Allison Wihtol, and auntie to Tessa Alexandra Wihtol and Nicholas Wihtol of Pensacola, Florida; sister of Steven David Wihtol, sister in-law of Anna Wihtol, and auntie to Zachary Wihtol and Lia Wihtol of Portland, Oregon. She also leaves her cousins Elizabeth Whalon, Laurie Whalon, Wendy Whalon, and Rene Petrocelli of Rhode Island and her aunts Barbara Stetson and Claire Petrocelli of Rhode Island,
She is also survived by her loving life partner, Daniel Timothy Cuddahy.
Suzanne grew up in Scituate, Massachusetts. She went from Saint Luke's Nursery School to Scituate High School. Spending summers on Peggotty Beach seeing who could get the best tan of the summer. She was a member of the summer bowling league and sailing club for lessons, and had many fond memories of growing up by Scituate Harbor. She then purchased her home in Marshfield, Massachusetts where she raised her children in Green Harbor, with more memories of the ocean, her children and friends for thirty-five years, which she loved.
Suzanne tried to make the best of everyday. She would say, " I have to do one thing a day to make the day go by and not waste it."
Memorial Services for Suzanne will be held on Tuesday, May 24, 2022 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street in Marshfield.
