Suzanne Irene Lushbaugh passed from this life on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at Seaton of Hagerstown after achieving her goal of rejoining the love of Her life, Eddie Lushbaugh, in the next. They were married Aug 30, 1958, at St Mary’s Church in Hagerstown.

Suzie was born August 13,1940 in Hagerstown to James R Burk and Margaret Jones Burk. In addition to her parents, and her husband, Suzie was preceded in death by her brother Lewis Burk. 

Suzie was part of the very first graduating class of St Maria Goretti High school in Hagerstown in June of 1958. 

During her life she worked at Pony Express, The Washington County Department of Social Services and as payroll administrator with her husband at their family business, Hydra-Pak Inc. She also volunteered for many years in the gift shop at the old Washington County Hospital. She was a member of The Catholic Daughters Of America, Ladies of The Elks, The Washington County Hospital Auxiliary, Mason Dixon Car Club and The Blue Gray Oldsmobile Club. She was a member of the Catholic Church from cradle to grave and celebrated as Lector at St James Church for over 30 years. 

She loved spending time with her ever-growing family and most of all, dancing with her husband Eddie for over 63 years! 

Suzie is survived by her sons, Michael "Mike" Lushbaugh and his wife Lisa Lawson Lushbaugh and David "Dave" Lushbaugh and his life partner Tracy Suddith. Grandchildren Sean Brandenburg and his wife Erin Martin Brandenburg, Robby Suddith, Matt Suddith and his wife Whitney Kennedy Suddith, Jason Rowland, Chris Rowland and Alicia Perez and her life partner Jason Hall. Great - grandchildren Devin Brandenburg, Logan Brandenburg, Tyler Cross, Zachary Cross, Ava Suddith, Romyn Suddith, Bentley Suddith and Ashton Rowland. 

Suzie will also be remembered by her God Children Krista Shifler, Doug Barton, Kenny Cunningham and Taylor Baird as well as many nieces and nephews. She leaves her forever friend and maid of honor Beverly Miller and dear friend and confidant Donna Bockstanz.

The family would like to thank Dr. April Small, the entire staff at Seaton of Hagerstown and everyone at Hospice of Washington County for the compassion and care during the last few months of our mother's time on earth. We will never forget any of you! 

A celebration of life for our Mother and Nana will be held every day for the rest of our natural lives! 

Services will be private.
