She was a 1956 graduate of Warsaw High School. For a number of years she worked as a bookkeeper for Silveus & Bradbury Oil Company.
Surviving is her husband of 62 years Harry, sons Thomas (Crystal) Indiana and Kelley, Florida. She has 4 grand children, 1 step grand child and 6 great grand children. Her brothers Lynn Shipley of Warsaw and Robert Shipley, Texas also survive.
She spent her retirement years traveling the United States in their RV and resided in Fort Myers Beach, Florida in the winter.
A celebration of life service will be held at Tri Lakes Baptist Church, 5679 N Center Street, Columbia City, IN on April 19 at 2pm.
