Suzanne Kimi Topper, 52, of Manchester, MD, passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, surrounded by her family at BridgingLife Dove House in Westminster, MD. Born on May 20, 1973, in Baltimore City, MD, she was the daughter of Kenneth W. Hoffmeyer and Faye F. Itami Hoffmeyer. She was the beloved wife of Thomas V. Topper, Jr.
Suzanne attended Loyola University of Maryland, where she earned her MBA and went on to build a successful career as a finance manager for many years. She shared 25 wonderful years of marriage with her beloved husband, Thomas, a partnership marked by love and unwavering support. Suzanne had a love for reading, cooking, and crafting handmade cards for family and friends, a hobby that reflected her creativity and the thoughtfulness she shared with those she loved. Her strong faith in her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, was an important part of her life and guided her with strength, grace, and compassion. She will be remembered for her kindness, warmth, and the joy she brought to everyone fortunate enough to know her.
In addition to her parents and husband, Suzanne is survived by her sister, Kristen Bhatia, and Kristen’s husband, Rishi, along with their adored four-year-old son, Bodhi, who brought great joy to Suzanne’s life. She is also survived by her nephew Jack Topper, along with many loving extended family members, dear friends, and colleagues who will miss her deeply.
Suzanne’s warmth, generosity, and beautiful spirit touched many lives and will never be forgotten.
Funeral services and interment are private.
