Born on April 6th, 1948, Sylvain (Bud) L. Thompson, Navy Veteran, loving husband, father and grandfather, debarked from the train of life due to cancer on February 20th, 2026. He leaves behind his loving wife and companion of 55 years, Jan Thompson, along with his son Rick Thompson and daughter Kristen Thompson (Harrison), in addition to five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Graveside services in conjunction with the VA and Brown's Funeral Home, will be held in the spring at the Veterans Memorial Park in Grand Junction as were his wishes. The family wants to thank HopeWest Hospice for their compassionate and unbelievable care. It was his wish that any donations were given to HopeWest in his honor.
