Sylvia T. Bruno, a beloved figure whose presence touched the hearts of many, was born on March 2, 1937, in Covington, Kentucky. She passed away peacefully on December 31, 2025, in Cincinnati, leaving behind a legacy of love and care that will forever be cherished by her family and friends.

As an Administrative Assistant with The Barrett Cancer Center, Sylvia dedicated herself to her work and brought warmth to those around her. Known affectionately as the "Card Lady," she delighted in sending thoughtful cards to friends and family, a testament to her loving and caring nature. Sylvia held a deep fondness for her family, often recalling joyous memories of vacations to New Smyrna Beach, Florida, and family get-togethers that highlighted her passion for connection and celebration.

Family was everything to Sylvia, and she is survived by her three daughters: Dawn A. Kuenzler, Kimberley M. (Steve) Slusher, and Michelle R. (James) Sunderman and mother-in-law of Arthur Winter. She was a proud grandmother to Brian, Matthew (Elizabeth), Allison (Matt), McKalyn (Michael), Mario (Chloe), Selina, Brittany (Brian), Michael, and also cherished her role as a great-grandmother to Matthew, Malachi, Ellie, and Norie. Additionally, Sylvia is survived by her brother, Jack (Barb) Beiting, and her brother-in-laws, Michael (Susan) Sayers and Richard Sanzenbacker, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and friends who held her dear.

Sylvia was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Angelo C. Bruno; her daughter, Lori Winter; her parents Sylvester and Irma Beiting; and her sisters Shirley Sayers and Judy Sanzenbacker. Each of them played a significant role in her life and continue to be remembered fondly.

As we reflect on Sylvia's life, we celebrate her joyful hobbies, which included reading, solving word searches, bird watching, theater dinner shows and hosting pool parties. She particularly enjoyed game nights and dining at Cancun's, relishing the flavors of chimichangas and strawberry daiquiris.

Her visitation will take place on January 14, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Vitt, Stermer & Anderson Funeral Home in Cincinnati, Ohio. The following day, a Mass will be held at St. Dominic Church, commencing at 10:00 AM, followed by her interment at St. Joseph New Cemetery at 11:15 AM.  A celebration of life will continue in O'Connor Hall following services at the cemetery.

Sylvia T. Bruno leaves a profound legacy of love, strength, and devotion that will forever linger in the hearts of those fortunate enough to have known her.
