Sylvia L Busic age 79 passed away peacefully on August 9, 2024, in her home in Sandy, Utah. She was surrounded by her family and nurse Kelley all that she wanted with her. She was born on April 28, 1945, to Arthur and Buena Gerke. She married Michael S. Busic on September 4, 1965. Sylvia got her Bachelor's degree in teaching at Northern Illinois. She married Michael a short time later. She loved substitute teaching at Valley High School. She loved spending time with family and going on vacations. She was an amazing friend to all. She loved knitting, and making blankets, socks, and hats. She loved giving kids rides on her wheelchair. She loved to laugh and have a great time. Making others smile and telling stories of her past.
She is survived by her son David, daughter Rebecca, granddaughters Samantha and McKynlee, grandsons McKason and Kylar, son-in-law Jamie, brother-in-law Dale, Robert and Alan Busic, sister-in-laws Vickie and Margie, and also one sister Marti.
She is preceded in death by her husband Michael Busic. Son Steven and daughter Cheryl. Mother-in-law Shirley and father-in-law Michael Busic.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, August 21, 2024 at 1pm at Camp William Memorial Park.
