Sylvia A. Cast

Sylvia A. Cast, 73, of New Castle passed away the morning of May 5, 2025 at UPMC Jameson Hospital.
Born in New Castle on February 15, 1952, Sylvia was the daughter of the late Thomas E. (Whitey) Mills and Angeline Lastoria Mills.
Sylvia is survived by her beloved husband, Ronald Cast. The two were married on November 25, 1972.
Sylvia had spent her working career as a Bartender and for the last twenty-five years worked at the Elks Club.
She was affiliated with Holy Spirit Parish, St. Vitus Church. Sylvia enjoyed watching baseball and was an avid Pittsburgh Pirates Fan. She also enjoyed doing crafts. A loving wife, mother and grandmother, Sylvia's greatest joy was spending time with family, especially her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Sylvia is survived by her three children, Ronnie Cast (Karlyn), Brian Cast (Tiffany) and T.J. Cast (Ericka), her brother, Edward Mills and companion, Marlene Notareschi, her sister, Anita Paterline (Daniel) and ten grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Sylvia was preceded in death by her sister, Jaynie Fuleno.
Visitation will be on Friday 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 941 S. Mill St. A Private Service for the family will be held, with Pastor Ron Nagel officiating. Burial will be in Parkside Cemetery.
