Timothy E. DeHaven, 59, of New Castle passed away the morning of February 27, 2026 at Select Specialty Hospital in Boardman, Ohio.

Born in New Castle on May 8, 1966, Tim was the son of the late James and Elizabeth Miller DeHaven.

Tim is survived by his beloved wife, the former Cathy Hesidenz. The two were married on April 18, 1984.

Tim was a Mechanic by trade and had worked at Tire Express. He had proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army.

Tim was a car fanatic, especially when it came to muscle, race and classics cars. He also enjoyed music. His greatest joy was the time he spent with his family.

In addition to his wife, Tim is survived by his three daughters, EJ DeHaven, Kim Brown (Mike) and Jen Stewart (Jason), two brothers, James DeHaven (Pamela) and Brian DeHaven, one sister, Rhonda DeHaven and six grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 941 S. Mill St. A Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
