Sylvia Ann Cudabac Russell Curtis

Sylvia Ann Cudabac Russell Curtis, age 91, of Tuscaloosa, AL, passed away Sunday, August 3, 2025, at Forest Manor Nursing Home. Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 9, 2025, at 2:00 P.M. at Tuscaloosa Memorial Chapel with burial in Tuscaloosa Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 9, 2025, from 1:30 P.M. until service time at 2:00 P.M.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Owen Curtis, Sr, of 40 years, her son, Robert O. Curtis Jr.; She was also preceded in death by her mother, Marjorie Vance Throckmorton Cudabac Russell and stepfather, Joseph William Russell, a longtime resident of Tuscumbia, AL; her father, Elton Ransom Cudabac Sr. of Marietta, GA.
Survivors include her son, Ruston O'Neal Curtis, of Tuscaloosa; her son, Stanley Howard Curtis (Melissa Bishop) and two grandchildren, Felix and Owen Curtis of Fort Collins, CO; and her brother, Elton "Sonny" Cudabac Jr. of Marietta.
Mrs. Curtis was born in Memphis, TN and was a lifelong native of Tuscumbia, AL. She also lived extensively in Oroville, CA. She lived the last 56 years in Tuscaloosa, AL.
Mrs. Curtis was a wife, mother, and homemaker. She was a member of The First United Methodist Church and Lee Sunday School Class in Tuscaloosa, AL
