Mrs. Sylvia Morris LeCroy, 81, of Hartwell, passed away Saturday, July 12, 2025 at Brookdale of Hartwell.
Born on August 22, 1943 in Royston GA, she was the daughter of the late Sylvanus Morris and Mildred Banister Morris. Mrs. LeCroy was formerly employed at Skelton-Morris Associates and the Hartwell Sun and retired from Royston Medical Associates. She was a member of the Mt. Olivet Baptist Church, Dollie Teel Sunday School Class and the Forever Young Group. She also loved working in her yard and flowers and spending time with her grandkids.
Survivors include her daughter: Tina L. Atkinson (Ken Glenn) of Hartwell; two sons: Mike LeCroy (Lisa) of Canon and Morris LeCroy (Glenda) of Hartwell; six grandchildren: Adam Atkinson (Gracie), Tom Atkinson (Tonya), Jonathan LeCroy (Holden), Josh LeCroy, Chase LeCroy and John Carter LeCroy; one step-granddaughter: Laura Denney and five great-grandchildren: Lily Hart, August Atkinson, Emorie Atkinson, Thomas LeCroy and Graham LeCroy.
Mrs. LeCroy was preceded in death by her parents and her husband: Keith LeCroy.
The family will receive friends Sunday, August 3, 2025 from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Mt. Olivet Baptist Church. Other times the family will be at their respective homes.
Memorial services for Mrs. Sylvia LeCroy will be held Sunday, August 3, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. at the Mt. Olivet Baptist Church with Rev. Jason Webb officiating.
Flowers optional, memorials may be made to the Mt. Olivet Baptist Church, 2973 Mt. Olivet Road, Hartwell GA 30643 or to the Alzheimer's Association, 41 Perimeter Center East, Suite 550, Atlanta, GA 30346
