Mr. Terrell Douglas Cobb, 77, of Hartwell, passed away Sunday, September 21, 2025 at the Elbert Memorial Hospital.

Born on August 30, 1948 in Royston, GA, he was the son of the late James Terrell Cobb and Olivia Hicks Cobb. Mr. Cobb was the manager for Bell Food Store, and was of the Baptist faith. He was also a member of the Hartwell Golf Club, loved turkey & deer hunting, and coached Little League baseball and football in Hart County.

Survivors include his two sons: Ricky Cobb of Hartwell, and Gary Cobb (Amy) of Royston; one brother: Calvin Cobb of Hartwell; one sister: Barbara Vaughn of Ringgold, GA; two grandchildren: Lauren Cobb Foster (Paul) and Nolen Brady Cobb (Maggie); and two great-grandchildren: Brady Palmer Cobb and Jackson Paul Foster. Mr. Cobb is preceded in death by his parents; and one brother: Donnie Cobb.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, September 24, 2025 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell.

A Graveside Memorial service for Mr. Terrell Cobb will be held on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park with Rev. Grant Myerholtz officiating.

Flowers are optional, and memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284-0692.

The Strickland Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
