Our Mother Sylvia Lee Martinez transitioned to eternal life on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at 5:11 a.m. at the age of 76.
She was so very loved and will be missed tremendously and will forever hold a place in our hearts. Mom was a generous and beautiful soul who commanded life on her own terms. A wonderful mother, grandmother, and friend. In honor of Sylvia's memory, a memorial service presided by Deacon Carrillo will be held on Saturday, November 11, 2023. A gathering of family and friends will begin at 3:00 p.m. and commencement of service at 4:00 p.m. at Palmer's in Seguin, Texas. Family and friends are invited to attend and remember her colorful, unique, and robust life. We ask attendee's to wear hints of emerald green with attire.
She is survived by daughters: Lee Anne, Rachel, Herlinda, Michelle and son: Raymond. grandchildren: Carlie, Reed, Samantha, Jeffery Daniel (JD), Johnny Ray, Alexis, Angelica, and Serenity. great grandchildren: Phoebe, Braverie, Jay Andrew and Marley. sisters: Mary, Beatrice, Olga, Florence and Priscilla. brothers: Earnest, Richard, Manuel, Roy and Hector.
She is preceded in death by parent's Oliver Sr. and Elodia Gomez. brothers: Oliver Jr., Ruben, Arthur and sister: Belinda.
A celebration of life dinner reception will be held at The Silver Center in loving memory of Sylvia Lee Martinez beginning at 5:30 p.m.
Contributions may be given at the Crystal Chandelier Ballroom.
