Sylvia Mayberry Obituary
Sylvia Mayberry of Simmesport, age 89, passed away on Monday, August 19, 2024, at her residence.
Funeral Mass will begin at 11:00am on Thursday, August 22, 2024 at Christ the King Catholic Church in Simmesport.
Burial will follow at United Pentecostal Cemetery in Simmesport.
Visitation will be held at Escude Funeral Home in Simmesport beginning at 8:00am to 10:45am, Rosary at 10:30am, on Thursday, August 22, 2024.
Those left to cherish her memory are children, Cathy Bonnette, Blume Anthony Mayberry (Glenda), and Brian Mayberry; sister, Marylee Gautheaux; eleven grandchildren, twenty two great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifton Mayberry; sons, Terry Mayberry and Kevin Mayberry; parents, Blume Anthony Ducote and Bell Ducote, sisters, Bernice Maddie, Betty Hugkins, Shirley Dupuis, and Gloria Ducote; brothers, Landry Ducote and Huey Ducote; grandson, Brandon Bonnette and son-in-law, David Winn.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home in Simmesport, LA (625 Main St. 71369).
