Sylvia Onions Obituary

Born on June 2, 1946 in Salisbury, MD, she was the daughter of the late Seth Edward Hurley and Mary Ellen Collins Hurley. Sylvia retired from Wallops Island Goddard Spaceflight facility. She was a longtime member of the Order of the Eastern Star, #88 Temperaceville Chapter.
Sylvia is survived by a daughter, Tara Patterson of Ocean Pines, MD; grandsons, Skylar Snead (Samantha) of Willards, MD and Kaelan Patterson of Salisbury, MD; three great-grandsons, Jaxon, Finn and Jasper Snead of Willards, Md; three cousins, Lynda Mazinski of Breckenridge, PA, Richard Brittingham of Virginia Beach, VA and Jo Ann Hinchee of Lewisville, NC.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
Funeral services will be private.
Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to the your local Veterans VFW.
Arrangements are by the Thornton Funeral Home in Parksley, VA.
