Sylvia Plank Obituary
Born December 28, 1959, in Morehead, she was the daughter of the late George T. Wagoner and Beulah Joy Matthews Wagoner. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Roger G. Plank, whom she married June 18, 1978, and who passed away July 1, 2020; and three brothers, Stanley Wagoner, Robert D. "Bob" Wagoner, and Donald R. "Raymond" Wagoner.
Sylvia is survived by her three children, Casey Plank (Doreen), Heather Fultz (Travis), and Nikki Plank (Ryan), all of Morehead; 13 grandchildren; one great-grandson; and four great-granddaughters. Other survivors include two brothers, Curt Wagoner (Judy) of West Liberty and Ronnie Wagoner (Bonnie) of Clearfield; a host of nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.
Sylvia retired after 16 years of service at Comfort Inn & Suites in Morehead and also worked for 22 years at McDonald's. She enjoyed spending time with her family and cooking for everyone. Most of all, she loved her grandchildren and her dog, Trixie.
Sylvia cared deeply for her family, and the memories she shared will be forever cherished. She will be greatly missed.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, December 20, 2025, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel, with Pastor Ron Clatos officiating. Burial will follow in Plank Family Cemetery, 11525 Cranston Road, Morehead, KY 40351.
Pallbearers will be Casey Plank, Darrel Justin Logan, Caleb Harris, Travis Fultz, Brayden Plank, Paxton Plank, Joe Ray Wagoner, and Jacob Plank.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, December 20, 2025, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
