Visiting Hours in the William J. Gormley Funeral Home, 2055 Centre St., West Roxbury, on Friday, August 30th from 9:30am to 11:00am. Followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Interment St. Michael Cemetery, Roslindale. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Sylvia may be made to Claudia Webb.

Happy Heavenly Birthday My Sweet High School Friend....
Oh my Sylvia my heart was shattered into a million pieces today, as I was thinking about you and Jose. Only to learn that each of you are resting eternally in the arms of Jesus
Although we´ve crossed paths audibly over the years.
All my memories are of us at English High and how much we adored one another, and how you & Junior were one of the 15 sets of (Twins) including my Sisters within the School. And also of our graduating class in 1978.
You was always so kind, loving, and giving. And you had the prettiest smile & the most amazing laugh. We both loved and hated those escalaters, but it beat a blank reaching each floor of that (10) story building
I came on social media to wish you and Jose a happy birthday today 7/31
May y´all continue to sleep peacefully in paradise.
And God´s continued comfort and blessings to your Husband, Daughters, and Family.

My beautiful sister was funny, animated and always a joy to be around. She would lovingly embrace my boys (and Nena & Gabriel) as if they were her own. She loved kids and would entertain anyone in her presence. Her laugh was contagious and her spirit was pure delight. She loved her mother and would bring much joyful bliss to her siblings. She adored her daughters. She loved her job at Brookline Housing and all her coworkers. She will forever be united with her twin brother Junior and our mom Carmen in heaven. God Bless us all - May they rest in Peace.

I was deeply saddened to hear about Sylvia´s passing. She was a remarkable person who touched the lives of many with her kindness and warmth.
To her sisters, I can only imagine the profound loss you are feeling. Sylvia´s love and bond with you were evident to all who knew her. May you find comfort in the cherished memories you shared and the strength in each other during this difficult time.
To her children, your mother was an extraordinary woman who always spoke of you with immense pride and love. Her legacy lives on through you, and I hope you find solace in knowing how much she loved you and how proud she was of each of you.

My beautiful sister Sylvia came into this world bright eyed, full of wonder, joy and laughter. She had an infectious laugh, beautiful smile, friendly and caring to all. She was loved by all of her family and friends. Her caring soul, way of being, drew many to her side wanting to be around her.
Sylvia will be missed!!
