Sylvia Ann Saavedra, born on July 13, 1974, in Williamsburg, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on January 17, 2026, in Jacksonville, FL. She is survived by her loving husband, John Taylor, and her children: daughter Elizabeth Guzman, son Mario Onofre Jr., and son Diego Sosol. Sylvia was a devoted grandmother to Leigha Onofre and Natalie Onofre. She is also survived by her father, Thomas Rowe, and her sister, Julia Humphrey, several nieces, nephews, and a host of relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Sylvia found her greatest joy in spending time with her family. She cherished every moment spent with her loved ones and was known for her warm and nurturing spirit. In her leisure time, Sylvia enjoyed crocheting, a hobby that allowed her to create beautiful handmade gifts for her family and friends. Her creations will forever hold a special place in the hearts of those who received them.
Sylvia's kindness, generosity, and love for her family will be remembered by all who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of warmth and affection that will continue to inspire her loved ones. As we honor her memory, we take solace in the time we shared and the love she brought into our lives.
Sylvia was preceded in death by: (Brother) Thomas Rowe Jr., (Mother) Judy Alvarez, (Uncle) Steve Perkins, (Uncle) Jerry Rowe, (Aunt) Elsie Mills (Grandmother) Leota Parrott, (Grandfather) Ray Perkins, (Grandmother) Mable Rowe, (Grandfather) Billy Rowe.
