SYLVINA CROFTS BEAGLEY POLAND celebrated her 47th birthday in Elko with her best friend on July 5th, 2025... little did anyone know there would be less than two weeks left to ever see her, hug her, talk to her, or say goodbye. She passed away in the St. Mark's Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah at 10:00 PM on July 19, 2025,

Sylvina was born at the Holy Cross Hospital July 5, 1978; she was the sixth daughter to bless the Crofts' home. On the way to the hospital the morning of her birth it was decided that this would be the last child, but that wasn't to be. On the delivery table just as she was born at 12:00 Noon, Sylvina's mother went unconscious at which time she heard a voice say as clear as day, don't stop now, there is another one waiting. We can only speculate where the voice came from, but her mother likes to think that Sylvina and Delcina were such good friends in the pre-existence that Heavenly Father allowed her to pass that message along to make sure her little sister got here.

Sylvina graduated from Hunter High School and from Academy of Finance, then went on to get her associate's degree from LDS Business College. She worked as night auditor for Anniversary Inn for many years and also worked for the family business of Crofts Theatre Services from the time she was sixteen. She excelled in all her classes and loved to study and learn. She loved to sing and dance, create and write, learn and teach, work and play. She was extremely talented and intelligent and often seemed to be the peacemaker of the family. She was energetic and enthusiastic about everything she did, and she excelled in whatever she set her mind to doing.

Sylvina was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and had a strong testimony of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She had many friends that she grew up with, not only at church and school, but no matter where she went her bubbly personality would draw everyone to her. She loved being involved in activities and leadership positions and served as PTA President for two years. She kept herself busy and tried to earn money selling PartyLite and Mary Kay products and she excelled at both.

Sylvina has followed in her mother's footsteps and was an avid journal writer. She has written several books about her life experiences and how to deal with and overcome the problems she had to deal with regarding her health. She was brilliant with numbers and few people could keep up with the way her brain worked.

Sylvina is survived by her two children Brooke and Brandon Beagley, her parents, Sylvan Ladd (Margarita) Crofts and Dorothy (Ken) Evanson all of her siblings, Brenda, Lisa (Heath) Raulston, Catrina Leffel, Regina, Penina, and Delcina (Cody) White, plus many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In 2019 she met Jesse Delapaz who loved and cared for her. They were together for six years up to the day of her passing, he loved her and she was his world. Sylvina will be missed terribly by all those who knew her and loved her.
