Clarence R. Henry II Obituary
Clarence R. Henry II, a beloved son, brother, and friend, passed away unexpectedly, leaving a legacy of love, passion, and unforgettable memories. Born in Southern California and raised in West Valley City, Utah, Clarence lived a life full of vitality and dedication, deeply rooted in his family and community.
As a young man, Clarence was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Salt Lake City, Utah, where he formed lasting and meaningful relationships. His passion for athletics was evident from an early age, as he excelled in track and field, earning medals in the Junior Olympics. Clarence showcased remarkable talent in events such as the shot put, discus, 4x4 relay, and 100 meters, consistently demonstrating his commitment and determination. Football, another of his great loves, was a cornerstone of his life for nine dedicated years, where he displayed unparalleled teamwork and perseverance.
A proud graduate of Hunter High School's Class of 2012, Clarence went on to earn his airframe mechanic certification, further exemplifying his commitment to hard work and achievement. His love for sports never wavered; Clarence was an avid fan who passionately supported the Utah Utes, the Los Angeles Dodgers, the Los Angeles Lakers, and was a "ride or die" Raiders fan.
Clarence was deeply known, loved, and valued by many in his community. His infectious spirit, loyalty, and kindness touched the hearts of all who knew him. He was a true "ride or die" for his family, friends, and the teams he supported.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Clarence and Bertha Henry; his maternal grandmother, Jewelean Brown; and his beloved dog, Drama. Clarence's memory will continue to be cherished by those he leaves behind, including his grandfather Ronnie A. Brown; his mother, Robin A. Henry; his father, Clarence R. Henry; his sister, Aalyah Bell (Brent Bell); his uncle, Anthony Brown (Lillian Bowles-Brown); his closest cousin, Tantania Brown (Jake & Milo Sebert), his Love, Shilo Armijo (Isaac, Andraya, Trinidy); a host of friends, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins who meant the world to him.
A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, January 18th, 2025 at 1812 S W Temple St, Salt Lake City, UT 84115, from 4 to 9pm. In lieu of flowers, the family invites you to send donations via Venmo to @Robin-Henry-57. Clarence's life will be celebrated with the love and gratitude of those who were fortunate to know him. His legacy of passion, determination, and unwavering loyalty will forever remain in our hearts.

I remember when he was little he was at my mom´s house attending Jermaine´s birthday party in the backyard. He was pretending to stick his finger in the birthday cake when I saw him he started laughing so hard it made me laugh. (Ella Mary is my mom).

Clarence was one of our dearest friends, he loved coming over to hot tub, visit, would sit and listen to my son talk for hours. He was truly a loving and dedicated friend. We sorry for this devastating loss. Bless his family through this incredibly difficult time. We love him so much.
