Tabatha A. Detrixhe, 49, of Bethlehem passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 26, 2022. She was born on December 5, 1972, the daughter of Gladys P. (Learn) Merkel and the late Charles F. Merkel. She was the loving wife of Julius W. Detrixhe, IV. Tabatha earned two bachelor's degrees. One in computer science from Cedar Crest and one in graphic design from Moravian College. She enjoyed being on her computer and learning about new technology. She had a passion for painting, drawing, graphic design and heavy metal music and was an avid fan of Snoopy, Harry Potter and Bob's Burgers. She cared for her family deeply and will be missed by all those who loved her. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 21 years, Julius W. Detrixhe, IV; daughter, Heaven I.W. Detrixhe; son, Julian M.W. Detrixhe; sister, Debra Fisher (James); brothers, Charles E. Merkel and Jason Merkel; her father and mother-in-law, Linda and Julius W. Detrixhe, Jr. and many nieces and nephews. Tabatha was preceded in death by her aunt, Mary Ruth "Mom Mom Mary" Learn and uncles Ernest Maxwell and Leslie Learn. A calling hour will be held on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 from 11 a.m.-12 p.m. at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018. A Celebration of Life will follow in the funeral home at 12 p.m. Burial will follow at Holy Saviour Cemetery.
